This is the final weekend for KATHY KRANIAS Archetypes in Clay: recent work. Summit be damned; I am open this weekend for viewing, so please venture out.
Please mark your calendar to join me and preview, with the artist DAVID McCLYMENT, his exhibition Future Past Perfect: recent painting. The evening’s hours are from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8th.
DAVID is a master at translating his elaborate and wonderfully evocative drawings on paper into what become seemingly quick, raw, graffiti-like images that are, for this exhibition, mostly painted on cardboard. A radical move in the world of conservators! Is the work a little bit apocalyptical, or could it be apocryphal? Big words, You decide…
