| “THREE NEW ARTISTS” Ariane Dubois Susan Oomen Rejean Roy Opening Sale and Reception Saturday, April 24, 2010 10am – 5pm All three artists will be in attendanceContinues until Saturday, May 15, 2010 In Gallery preview now available  Opening this Saturday, April 24 at 10am, “Three New Artists” will be our formal introduction of three of the newest artists Roberts Gallery, although their names and work will be familiar to many of you. Ariane Dubois’s cosmic take on the landscape with her typical bold colour and nebulous form will be on display in the middle gallery. In the front gallery, Susan Oomen returns to her Boathouse Series that will be new to many patrons of Roberts Gallery, with its still structures contrasted against rippling water. The landscapes of Rejean Roy will be on display in the back gallery with all of the vibrant light and powerful textures that have come to be expected from his very popular work. We feel that the work from these three artists expresses what Roberts Gallery finds essential in contemporary Canadian art. The exhibition is now on the wall and we invite everyone to visit the gallery to preview this exciting show in person before attending the opening this Saturday. All three artists will be in attendance at Saturday’s reception and, as always, a full on-line preview of the exhibition is available on our website.
