Ryerson’s School of Image Arts Annual Graduate Exhibition
Opening Reception Date: April 29th 7pm - 10pm
Beginning in late April of 2010, Ryerson’s School of Image Arts will host its 15th annual graduate and end of year show, Maximum Exposure. The exhibition showcases the talent and potential coming out of the Image Arts program by featuring the work of 150-200 emerging Photography, Film and New Media based artists.

Marshall McLuhan created the term “allatonceness” referring to the Pervasive Influence of the digital age. With cell phone cameras, computer manipulation and internet access, photography has enhanced its power to communicate ideas.
Artists are once again at the forefront of this expanding universe. Propeller members, in this exhibition of photo-based art, present images that challenge the idea of ‘conformity’ while being accessible and enlightening for all.

Naughty Dream: A little Girls Uncanny insight into the Future
An installation by Sharon Moodie
Opening Reception: Thursday, April 29th at 7 – 10 p.m.
Scores of felted objects recreate the childhood dream of artist Sharon Moodie. Naughty Dreams: A little girl’s uncanny insight into the future is at Propeller Gallery from April 28 to May 8.
This playful portrayal of a child’s dream forged in memory as both titillating and shameful lingered for years. The dream left a potent impression on the child revealing a world at odds with her innocence.
