The Art Bazaar is a unique exhibiting and collecting platform that has identified an unmet need for emerging and unrepresented artists to further their careers in the seemingly impenetrable New York art market.
Established in 2009, the Art Bazaar is a grass roots initiative providing artists with a unique opportunity to promote and sell their work.

Registration is on a “first-come, first-served” basis, with no visual vetting or selection committee for inclusion.  Artwork prices are set by the artists who are present to interact directly with the viewing public with the goal of building relationships with novice and seasoned collectors alike.
The Art Bazaar has hosted over 400+ artists to date and continues to attract artists and visitors nationally and internationally to its events.

OSCAR DOTTER
THE HUH WHAT SHOW
now through April 30th

Described as “punk rock meets the paintbrush” and “jet fueled and

hand crafted like a Howard Hughes aircraft”, Oscar Dotter’s current multi-media exhibition at the Art Bazaar project space draws inspiration from retro and vintage themes, contrasted with bright backdrops of bold coloring, often with a tough of vulgarity.

A self-taught painter and photographer, Dotter typically works on canvas with heavy acrylic and oil paints, often incorporating other elements such as charcoal, silicon, leather, coffee, tea, plastics and textiles.

Having painted his entire life, Dotter has also produced art and visual installations for various corporations and individuals throughout the New York City region.
