I’m getting lots of notes and emails-calls from far and wide. First off, I want to say thank you/meci ampil for all of the love that Haiti is getting. There would be no “Oni the Haitian Sensation” without Haiti.

The Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club donated thousands to our Haiti Earthquake Relief fundraiser!
Jeff Hunt, owner of the Ottawa 67’s, invited Oni the Haitian Sensation to fundraise for the victims of Haiti’s earthquake on January 15, 2010, during the Hockey game at the Frank Clair Stadium in Ottawa. The proceeds from the fundraiser went to the Red Cross.
Leadership Ottawa, students from Lisgar Collegiate, Monica from the Wabano Aboriginal Centre, Chidima, Sean and Mara raised a HUGE amount of cash which will be disclosed at the upcoming fundraiser held at the Mercury Lounge on January 21, at 7pm, which will also be a fundraiser for the Red cross.
The Featured artists during that fundraiser will be “Prosper and friends Inspirational Mics “Help Heal Haiti” and the event will be hosted by Oni the Haitian Sensation and by Rachel Décoste.
Jeff Hunt donated an additional $2000.00 at the end of the hockey game and he is urging all Junior Hockey teams to join our fundraising efforts.
Our goal is to raise 1 million dollars for Haiti’s earthquake victims.
We raised $ 20 000.00 in 2 events!
Le Club de hockey des 67’ d’Ottawa a contribué à notre campagne de fonds pour les sinistrés du tremblement de terre en Haïti
Le propriétaire de l’équipe des 67’s d’Ottawa Jeff Hunt a invité Oni la Sensation Haïtienne à venir au match de Hockey le 15 janvier 2010 au Stade Frank Clair a Ottawa, pour faire une levée de fonds pour les victimes du tremblement de terre en Haïti pour la pour la Croix-Rouge.
Leadership Ottawa, Monica du Centre Wabano, les étudiants de L’École Secondaire Lisgar, Chidima, Sean, et Mara, se sont joints à la partie! Ils ont ramassé une GROSSE somme d’argent qui sera annoncée Jeudi le 21 janvier a 19h au Mercury Lounge situé au 56 Rue, Byward Market qui sera la prochaine levée de fonds pour Haïti de la CCN pour la Croix-Rouge.
Les artistes de cette soirée ou le montant de la levée de fonds sera annoncée sont « Prosper and friends Inspirational Mics Help Heal Haiti « animé par Oni la Sensation Haïtienne et par Rachel Décoste. Jeff Hunt a fait une autre contribution personnelle de $2000,00 a la fin du Match de Hockey du 15 janvier.
Nous avons ramassé 20 000,00$ en deux jours!
Notre but est de ramasser 1 million de dollars pour les victimes du tremblement de terre en Haïti.
