Controversy boils up over upcoming exhibition at the New Museum in February that will showcase the collection of Greek Billionaire, Dakis Joannou, one of its own trustees, as chosen by his close friend Jeff Koons.

Is the New Museum ignoring the vision by its founder, Marcia Tucker to use the space as, “a place with a scope lying somewhere between grassroots alternative spaces for contemporary art and major museums that show only artists of proven historical value.”?
